Labor Day Adventure

With the Land Rover National Rally just around the corner Lane needed to take the Defender out for a 'shake-down' run. So we headed out early Monday morning with a few of his buddies and their kids. I was nervous about taking Evalyn off road and about how she'd do in the car that long. But she did great - even fell asleep for a while on one of the bumpiest parts of the trail.

Strapped in to her PRP preemie seat that Daddy bought to keep her safe. It was a little chilly thankfully Evalyn's winter hat still fit.

The group at the top of Minearl Basin trail.

We also spent time at the park, boating with friends and eating good food.

At the helm with Jared. Have I mentioned that we're in trouble, she loves guys - especially Jared!
At the park. We had the whole place to ourselves.
What's a good holiday bbq without corn on the cob? She ate 1.5 cobs all by herself!
