TWO

I can't believe that my little monkey turned two at the end of last month. TWO! Everyone tells you that the time just flies by but no words can prepare you for how fast it really goes. She has just blossomed over the last few months into the cutest, most mischievous, funny little bean! Her vocabulary is huge and it's not uncommon to hear her say 'Recogize!' (recognize). 'I'm da boss here or I'm in charge here too Mama!' Her s's sound like th and I can't get enough of it. She still has a hard time saying her own name. It sounds sort of like Ellen or Eh-lyn. She sings in the car and loves Lady Gaga and tells me every morning when we get ready for school and work that 'I look booful mama, you look booful too.' She will open her arms wide and say I love you dis much dada!

I tell you I can't get enough of her!

 When we asked her what kind of cake she wanted for her birthday she surprised us and said she wanted Angee burds cupcakes. Ooooookay. You got it! Here's how they turned out. Not too shabby, eh? The little blue ones are actually Oreo Cookie balls dipped in white chocolate and rolled in blue sugar.

 And here she is singing Happy Buurthday to you to herself. Thanks to Grandma and Papa Farka, Nana and Doug and everyone else who helped make Evalyn's second birthday special. She had a great time.

 Dig in! She still asks for Angee Burd cupcakes on occasion.
